MIDWEEK, 16/8/16 to 17/8/16

There are matches in some divisions around the world tonight (Tuesday) and tomorrow (Wednesday) and first of all, I want to go through the trades highlighted last weekend:-

Oppose Fulham when leading against Preston (led 1-0 after 33 minutes,  2-0 after 67 minutes, Preston pulled a goal back on 71 minutes, Fulham won 2-1)
Oppose Maritimo when leading against Sporting Lisbon (Sporting won 2-0, no trade)
Oppose Toulouse when leading against Marseille (0-0, no trade)
Oppose Sporting Kansas City when leading against Dallas (scored to lead 2-1 after 73 minutes, conceded equaliser after 76 minutes, finished 2-2).

So overall, one big win in the MLS and one small win via averaging down in the Fulham/Preston match in the Championship (as discussed in the YouTube video), and no losses.

This midweek, focus is in England with a full programme of matches in the Championship, League One and League Two.  Most other leagues have cup or European commitments, scenarios that I am not keen to dive into.

In the Championship, Blackburn and Fulham (both away, at Cardiff and Leeds respectively) look the most vulnerable teams to concede equalisers, but statistically they aren't matches with enough expected value to risk a large stake.

In League One, statistics also don't go overboard on high value matches, but Chesterfield look more likely to concede an equaliser as a home team, against Walsall, whilst Southend may struggle to retain leads away at Sheffield United.

Finally, in League Two, Yeovil were very poor at holding onto leads last season and are likely to struggle to do so if they get in front against Mansfield.

There will be a full preview, probably added Friday, for this weekend's matches.
